The DRD volumetric dosing unit is designed for continuous dosing of several materials. It is to be set up at the bottom of the machine to be equipped.
Storage Unit including:
2 to 4 cylindrical Silo Bins with conical base (50 to 400 liters capacity), mild steel support legs with 4mm thick base plate for swivel castors. Some of these swivel castors are self-locking.
Two-piece hinged cover lid (one-piece cover lid for 50 liters).
A grid (40×40 mm meshes) fitted inside each silo bin (space for bags).
Silo bins are made of mild steel epoxy coated, WHITE RAL 9010; the grid is made of zinc-plated steel.
Dosing Unit including:
Zinc-plated steel dosing spirals (various sizes for throughputs from 15 to 800 kg/h).
An inclined zinc-plated steel dosing duct connected under each silo bin. It is equipped with a quick- draining and sampling device. Each dosing duct is inclined to improve the dosing adjustment.
A three-phase geared motor, with quick release connection to the dosing duct, operates the driving of the dosing spiral.
N.B.: the DRD Dosing Unit is supplied with as many dosing units as silo bins.
Central discharge outlet for 4 materials, with inspection hole for quick cleaning.
The dosing units can discharge continuously in one location preparing like this a homogenization phase.
Electric control panel for drive and power (fixed on one of the silo bins) including:
A frequency converter with potentiometers to adjust the speed of each geared motor; 10 –turn potentiometer with counter.
Power disconnect switch with door lock
Thermomagnetic circuit breaker
Safety transformer 24 VAC
Warning light in case of defect
Main push-button ON/OFF
Turning knob auto/manual for general calibration
Turning knob auto/manual for calibration for product dosing
N.B.: The driving and power for a Flexible Spiral Feeder connected under the central discharge outlet for recovery, are originally included in the electric control panel.
